Visit Norway has joined forces with The Daily Telegraph to help promote its northern lights campaign. A special microsite has been launched, which shows the very best of Northern Norway – home to some of the best aurora activity.

As well as information about the enchanting northern lights, visitors to the site can also find details about getting to Norway, activities and excursions in the Arctic regions and two beautiful image galleries showing the very finest landscape from Northern Norway and stunning images of the northern lights. The microsite will remain live for the duration of the campaign.

According to NASA, this winter will see the best northern lights activity for more than 50 years, due to the peak of the Solar Maximum. While this comes around every 11 to 12 years, NASA predicts it will be stronger than at any time over the last half century.
